Gary Neville has revealed that one of Gareth Southgate's decisions regarding England's EURO 2024 squad has left him absolutely baffled.
Southgate named his 33-man provisional England squad for Euro 2024 on Tuesday, which will eventually see seven players dropped to make a 26-player squad for the summer tournament in Germany.
Some of the many headline-making selections include Adam Wharton, who has shone for Crystal Palace in recent weeks, Liverpool's Jarell Quansah, and the highly sought-after Jarrad Branthwaite from Everton.

Marcus Rashford was a shock omission from the squad despite an underwhelming season for Erik ten Hag's United. The 26-year-old took to social media to respond to being left out by Southgate.
Gary Neville has shared his thoughts on the 33-man squad, and there is one player who missed out which the former United defender is really surprised by.

“So, Jordan Henderson, well that’s interesting [that he hasn’t made the England squad]. He was actually a mainstay only 18 months ago in Qatar," he said.
"And I just thought he’d be [there], with 26 players, a traveller, experience, to come on for 25 minutes and do a job. I’m really stunned.”
Henderson began the season in the Saudi Pro League but forced a move back to Europe after admitting he misjudged his decision to join Steven Gerrard at Al-Ettifaq.

Since sealing his move to Ajax in January, Henderson has made nine appearances for the club providing three assists in the process.
Speaking in a press conference explaining the reason behind his squad choices, Southgate revealed it was a 'lack of intensity' that saw Henderson miss out.
“The determining factor was the injury he picked up in the last camp. He's missed five weeks and hasn't been able to get to the intensity required," the England boss explained.
