England head to Euro 2024 in Germany as favourites to lift the trophy and end their 58-year trophy drought.
With a talented squad comprised of both youth and experience, England will be hoping to avenge the 2020 Euros final defeat, where they lost 3-2 to Italy in a penalty shootout.
But many of them could have chosen to represent another nation.

While it is common knowledge that players such as Declan Rice and Jack Grealish were eligible for the Republic of Ireland, having represented the country in their youth career, fans may be surprised by some other players international eligibility.
According to The New York Times, Trent Alexander-Arnold could have played for the United States of America after his grandmother moved to New York City and later married.
Chelsea’s breakout superstar Cole Palmer received his first senior England call up in November last year, but he could have represented Saint Kitts and Nevis as his dad’s family come from the Caribbean country.

The 21-year-old revealed in an interview with The Player’s Tribune that, to pay tribute to his father’s role in his career, he features the Saint Kitts and Nevis flag on his boots.
Palmer said: "He used to say, 'No point trying to shoot if you can’t keep hold of the ball in the first place.'
"We would do that every single day whatever the weather — and my dad’s family is from St Kitts and Nevis in the Caribbean. He hates going out in the cold. But he'd do it for me anyway.
"That’s why I got the St Kitts flag on my boots, as a little tribute to him and his family."
