England players will each be paid to represent the Three Lions at Euro 2024. Here’s how much.
Gareth Southgate is currently deliberating who of his 33-man squad to take to Germany for the European Championships, with the England boss having until the weekend to whittle his team down to the required 26.
England will be among the favourites to win this summer’s competition, while Spain, France, hosts Germany and reigning champions Italy will also be likely to compete for the crown.

And while Southgate’s men will be spurred on by the prospect of winning the country’s first major silverware since 1966, there is also some financial gain to going far in the tournament.
Every player who competes at Euro 2024 will be paid an amount per game by UEFA, with each respective football association determining how said money is distributed.
UEFA will give each nation £7.92million for making it to Germany with the fee to steadily increase as the tournament progresses. The winners will ultimately earn £26million.

That fee will be on top of the standard amount they receive for representing their country. As per Wales Online, England player earn around £2,000 per game, but since 2007 they have been donating that money to the England Football Foundation, which then distributes it to charities.
That fee may also be boosted by a bonus system which again, will be decided by each country’s FA.
For example, England’s bonuses will likely be incentivised towards winning the tournament, while other nations are more likely to get money for making it out of the group stage.

Ahead of deciding his squad Southgate said: "We understand the significance for all of the players so we're giving it the respect and attention it deserves to make fair, right decisions. Of course, it's always going to be subjective.
"It's not just getting the best individuals in, there's a positional element to that as well.
"We've got really good options and I think we've come through tonight without any physical issues, which is really important."
The England boss continued: "Some players needed the game, they needed the minutes and they need the minutes again on Friday. That's why we brought Harry Kane on. He needed some match time today and then to back that up.

"We're spinning a lot of plates trying to get individuals into things, manage minutes, perform well and everything else, but I think it was a good night for us."
