In the second half, Madrid went back in front after Rodrygo made it 2-1.
The 21-year-old perhaps should have made it 3-1 later on in the match but he only managed to turn Luka Modric’s pin point cross onto the post.
With 15 minutes remaining, Betis pushed for an equaliser, Canales nearly scored his second goal of the match but saw his dipping shot repelled by Madrid keeper Thibault Courtois.
