Thomas Tuchel has reportedly made one key demand to Bayern Munich chiefs in order to remain at the club amid links with Manchester United.
Bayern announced in February that Tuchel, who won the Champions League with Chelsea in 2021, would leave the club at the end of the season following a disappointing Bundesliga campaign.
But the German then led Bayern to the Champions League semi-final, with the Bavarians only denied a spot in the final by two late Real Madrid goals in the second leg of their tie.

Meanwhile, club chiefs have seen Ralf Rangnick, Xabi Alonso and Julian Nagelsmann all turn down the managerial role, while they saw an approach for Oliver Glasner flatly turned down by Crystal Palace.
Now, Bayern appear to have turned back to their current manager, as they are reportedly in talks with Tuchel for him to stay on next season.
However, it is said that the German has one strict demand which would convince him to commit to staying at the Allianz Arena.

According to BILD, Bayern chiefs want Tuchel to run down his contract, which expires in the summer of 2025, before then reviewing the situation towards the end of his deal.
However, the former Chelsea and Borussia Dortmund boss wants to sign a contract extension instead to prolong his stay.
It is claimed that Bayern do not want to allow Tuchel to leave this summer as they would have to pay him a severance payment - for which they have 'incurred extremely high expenses' in sacking other coaches in recent seasons.

Hansi Flick and Julian Nagelsmann have both parted company with the club before the end of their contracts since 2021, and Tuchel would therefore represent the third coach to leave the club in just over three years.
The report adds that a final decision is likely to be made this weekend, with Bayern taking on Hoffenheim in their final game of the Bundesliga season on Saturday.
