Arsenal have all but sealed the signing of Ivan Fresneda after the player had a personal call with Mikel Arteta, according to a fresh report.
The Gunners have been extremely active in the January market since missing out on their no.1 target Mykhailo Mudryk to Chelsea.
Leandro Trossard sealed a deal worth up to £27million to join Arsenal from Brighton.

According to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, Arteta’s side are also on the verge of signing 22-year-old Spezia centre-back Jakub Kiwior.
It now appears the Gunners are set to secure a third summer signing - Real Valladolid right back Fresneda.

The report claims that Arteta personally called the 18-year-old to convince him of the merits of joining Arsenal.
However, it remains to be seen whether he will join immediately or be loaned back to the La Liga side for the remainder of the season.
The player had been in talks with Real Madrid and Los Blancos reportedly considered paying the player’s £8.75million release clause.
Indeed, Fresneda looked set to re-join the La Liga giants, having trained at the club’s academy, La Fabrica, before moving to Leganes.

However, Carlo Ancelotti allegedly stalled the deal, which Arsenal were quick to take advantage of.
El Desmarque claims the deal is “all but” sealed, with the player set to fly to London in the coming days.
