Arsenal target Ivan Fresneda is set to remain at Real Valladolid beyond the January transfer window, according to reports.
The Gunners have been heavily linked with the 20-year-old right-back, who has represented Spain at youth levels.
He has made 10 La Liga appearances for Valladolid this season, and was praised for his performance against Vinicius Junior when his side faced off against Real Madrid earlier this month.

His displays and potential have attracted interest from some of Europe's top clubs, with Arsenal, Newcastle, Juventus and Borussia Dortmund, amongst others, all said to be keen on signing him.
According to Tuttomercatoweb, Juve and Inter Milan were planning a move for Gunners star Kieran Tierney should Mikel Arteta's side complete a move for Fresneda, who was dubbed a 'remarkably complete player' by La Liga Lowdown's Matt Clark, to Chronicle Live.
However, it appears that a move will not be happening.
Arsenal target Fresneda set to stay
According to Spanish football journalist Chus Rodriguez, Fresneda is set to remain at Valladolid after the window shuts, barring a major surprise, in a major blow to Arsenal.

He tweeted: "Another good news for Real Valladolid: it seems that Fresneda is not going to appear in this market. The transfer is postponed, except for a last-minute surprise."
Earlier this week, Fabrizio Romano reported that it was down to the player if he wanted to leave Spain in January and leave another club.
He claimed that, in Arsenal's case, any deal relied on the loan departure of right-back Cedric Soares to Fulham. That move, however, requires Fulham to sign one of the their current loanees permanently, with Premier League rules stating clubs cannot loan more than two players from another English top flight club at one time.
At the time of writing, the move has not yet been completed, and it appears that Arsenal will have to do plenty of convincing on the player's side in order to bring Fresneda to the Emirates Stadium this month, or wait until the summer.
