Arsenal star Martin Odegaard has the potential to win the Ballon d’Or according to ex-Gunners star Lauren.
Mikel Arteta’s side are at the Premier League summit, some five points clear of last season’s champions Manchester City.
A central part of the Gunners’ success has been club captain Odegaard.

The 24-year-old’s numbers this season - eight goals and six assists in 18 games - put him alongside Kevin De Bruyne and Bruno Fernandes as the Premier League’s best creative midfielders.
Meanwhile, he is aesthetically one of the division's most watchable players, boasting a wonderful balance while carrying the ball and the vision to pick a pass.

The former right-back added that the player, who cost Arsenal £30million in 2021, could in the future be worth some £200million.
Lauren told FairBettingSites: “Odegaard was not a cheap player, but he has been great and still has more to show.
“If he continues to improve, he can be a £100m or £200m player in the future.

“I can see Odegaard compete for the top individual awards such as the Ballon d'Or, the performances of the team are helping him to grow.
“In the future, if Arsenal win the Premier League, then perform well in the Champions League next season, I believe Odegaard will be among the best in the world."
After Odegaard's commanding performance in Arsenal’s last-gasp 3-2 victory over United, the playmaker received praise from another Gunners legend - Cesc Fabregas.
Speaking on Sky Sports Fabregas insisted Odegaard was the perfect captain to lead the Gunners to the Premier League title.

“It’s definitely a big job but I think he’s up to the standards. He’s the captain of Norway, he’s been at Real Madrid,” he said.
“We also see that he was already on loan at Arsenal before, he knows the club, the philosophy. I believe that every club needs a good playmaker and I think he’s the one and the right one for Arsenal.
“He’s always available, he’s intelligent. He works hard off the ball, he knows when to come into midfield and help his teammates, when to push forward and create chances for the team.
“I like his attitude overall, he’s intelligent and from what I’ve heard he has humility as well to always learn and do well. So, he’s the right man for me.”
