Manchester City have rejected a €70 million offer for Bernardo Silva from Paris Saint-Germain ahead of the transfer deadline, according to a new report.
In recent weeks, it has seemed like Silva has come to terms with spending the current campaign in Manchester.
Several reports have suggested that the 28-year-old's stance on seeking a move away from the Etihad Stadium has softened.

Despite Barcelona and PSG's continued interest in signing the Portugal international, City have refused to entertain any approaches for Silva, who is under contract at the club till 2025.
Entering the summer transfer window, the Premier League champions were understood to be open to sanctioning a sale for Silva but only for what they deemed a fair price for the Lisbon-born playmaker.
However, with less than a week to go till deadline day, City would need to act quick to bring in a suitable replacement and are hence extremely unlikely to let the former AS Monaco man leave.

Sources close to the Etihad Stadium have indicated City have slapped a whopping €100 million price tag on Silva, who has won four Premier league titles since joining the Blues in 2017.
Despite all signs lately pointing to Silva staying put, a fresh update has revealed PSG have still tried their hand at bringing in the Manchester City midfielder.
As per a report by Duncan Castles of The Times, City have rejected an initial offer worth €70 million for Bernardo Silva from the French giants.

According to sources close to negotiations, Silva is understood to have agreed personal terms with Ligue 1 club, who are ready to match the Portuguese's wages at City.
Moreover, Silva is believed to have been left 'unimpressed' after City turned down the offer - a decision that was communicated to the midfielder's camp via intermediaries.
Manchester City have reportedly offered Silva a bumper new deal that would put him alongside Kevin De Bruyne as the highest earner at the Etihad Stadium.

However, Silva decided against signing a new deal at City as he remains keen on taking up a new challenge in his prime years in professional football.
Sources close to PSG have claimed City are reluctant to let Silva leave for the French capital as they fear PSG will have a stronger claim of winning a maiden Champions League before the English giants as a result.
It is worth noting the word around the Etihad Stadium is that City remain confident of keeping hold of Bernardo Silva this season.

Having left it too little, too late to pull off a sensational swoop for the midfielder, Silva's suitors could choose to make improved offers in the remainder of the window or cool down their interest in the Portuguese.
