Bernardo Silva had an extraordinary summary of Manchester City's current situation right now after Pep Guardiola's side were pumped 4-1 by Sporting CP in the Champions League.
City went 1-0 up early on in the clash through Phil Foden and dominated large parts of the first half. But in Ruben Amorim's final home game ahead of him taking the reins at Manchester United, Sporting turned it on and inflicted a third consecutive loss on the Premier League champions.
Red-hot striker Victor Gyokeres bagged a hat-trick, including two penalties, while Maximiliano Araujo was also on target in a crazy start to the second half.

City, who saw Erling Haaland miss a spot-kick, were killed on the counter attack and could not contain the speed of Sporting's play in transition.
After winning a record-breaking fourth Premier League in a row, the Blues have not been particularly convincing so far this season, with injuries to key players like Rodri and Kevin De Bruyne having an enormous impact.
The defeat follows up losses to Spurs and Bournemouth, where City were also outplayed for large spells. After their 26-game unbeaten run in the Champions League came to an end, midfielder Silva was honest about just how bad the predicament is at the moment.
"We're in a bit of a dark place right now, and everything looks to be going in the wrong way," he told TNT Sports.

"Even when we play well we don't score our chances, and we concede too easily.
"So definitely we need to look inside to check what we're not doing well and get better very quickly otherwise it will be difficult to come back from these losses.
"It's difficult to find reasons for what is happening right now to us. I don't remember in seven-and-a-half seasons this team losing three games in a row, and it just looks like everything is going in the wrong way right now.
"We need to do better, obviously. We need to do better. Our injured players need to come back because we need them. And it's just not good enough at the minute."

City find themselves sixth in the overall Champions League table, with two wins, a draw and a loss in four fixtures.
They are two points off Premier League leaders Liverpool and will look to bounce back with a tricky trip to Brighton in Saturday's evening kick-off.
Their next two Premier League games after the international break are huge, with City hosting Spurs before travelling to Anfield to take on Liverpool.
