In the team bus after the game, one scene showed Phil Foden and Cole Palmer in discussion about the game.
When talking about his Spanish teammate, Rodri, Foden turned around and said: "Rodrigo: A Xavi and Iniesta mixture... Iniesta's dribbling, Xavi's passing."
High praise from the 22-year-old, but it was certainly not without merit.
