
Erling Haaland has reflected on his hat-trick against Nottingham Forest, as well as the teamâs energy ahead of their upcoming fixtures.
Manchester City have certainly re-found their energy, as the defending Premier League champions defeated Nottingham Forest 6-0 on Wednesday night.Â
The match came across more as a showcase of the Sky Bluesâ recent acquisitions, as both Erling Haaland and Julian Alvarez played significant roles in the victory.
Although the latter managed to score his first two goals in the Premier League, it was Erling Haalandâs second consecutive hat-trick that stole the show - a feat which makes the Norwegian international the sixth English top-flight player to score back-to-back hat-tricks.

When speaking about his performance on Wednesday night, Haaland discussed how it felt more as a continuation of the teamâs performance against Crystal Palace the previous weekend.
âIt was about keep doing what we did in the second half against (Crystal) Palace; play, play, play, and we knew weâd get chances and we did that,â said Erling Haaland.

The 22-year-old superstar feels that the chemistry between his team mates, as well as head coach Pep Guardiola, feed into his performances.

âI try to listen as much as I can to Pep (Guardiola) and the boys.
"Theyâre amazing footballers, without them I canât score goals,â said Haaland.
"Itâs about finding the chemistry and to listen to Pep.â
While the Norwegian striker has no complaints about the English top-flight, he does note that the upcoming fixtures will start to pile on top of each other, and that it will be important for the Sky Blues to keep their momentum going.

âItâs important to keep going and itâs going to be a lot of games," said Haaland.

âIt's important to enjoy as much as we can because in the end we have to win games.â
The schedule congestion which Erling Haaland alludes to may be in reference to Manchester Cityâs matches in the group stage of the Champions League, as well as their domestic fixtures taking place during the opening weeks of November.

All of the aforementioned matchdays come ahead of the Premier League's international break for the FIFA World Cup in Qatar during November and December.
