Daniele Orsato will take charge of Manchester City versus Borussia Dortmund on Wednesday evening.
Both City and Dortmund won their opening Group Stage matches last week, as Pep Guardiola's side thrashed Sevilla and the Bundesliga giants comfortably beat FC Copenhagen.
Erling Haaland scored twice on his Champions League debut for Manchester City, and is preparing to come up against his former club in midweek.

The 22 year-old, who has already scored 12 goals this season, moved from Dortmund to City for £51 million this summer.
Central defender Manuel Akanji is also in contention to face his former club, after completing a £15 million deadline day switch to the Etihad Stadium.
Akanji made his Manchester City debut against Sevilla last week.
City return to action following the postponement of all English football at the weekend, as a mark of respect for Her Majesty the Queen, who died at the age of 96 on Thursday afternoon.

Daniele Orsato will lead an all Italian team of Match Officials at the Etihad Stadium on Wednesday evening.

The 46 year-old, who has taken charge of two matches so far this season, was the referee for the Sky Blues' agonising second-leg loss to Real Madrid in the semi-finals last season.
Orsato was last in charge at the Etihad Stadium in November, when City beat PSG 2-1 in the Group Stages.
Assistant Referees
Orsato will be accompanied at the Etihad Stadium by Assistant Referees Ciro Carbone and Alessandro Giallatini.
Video Assistant Referees
Overviewing proceedings from the Etihad Stadium will be Video Assistant Referee Marco Di Bello.
