Burnley have confirmed the signing of CJ Egan-Riley from Manchester City on a four-year contract.
The Clarets will be looking to return to the Premier League after suffering relegation to the Championship on the last day of the past campaign.
Vincent Kompany has taken charge of the Lancashire outfit and has added Manchester City academy graduate CJ Egan-Riley to his ranks at Turf Moor.
Egan-Riley made his senior Premier League and Champions League debuts under Pep Guardiola last season, with the England U-19 international also featuring in the Carabao Cup for his boyhood club.

After an impressive season at the Etihad Stadium, the Manchester-born defender has joined forces with former City skipper Vincent Kompany at Burnley till 2026 at the very least.
Manchester City were believed to be due compensation for the sale of Egan-Riley as the Clarets were linked with the signing of the young centre-back earlier this week.

In a farewell message to Manchester City fans on social media, Egan-Riley wrote: "Manchester City has been part of my life for 14 years and I will always be grateful for the opportunities and experiences I have had in my time at the club.
