Manchester City are reportedly keeping a close eye on the progress and development of Benfica's latest wonderkid to emerge on to the scene, according to a claim from France.
The Premier League champions have an impressive collection of players that have all been developed and nurtured by the Portuguese giants.
Benfica and Manchester City also have negotiation history in recent years.

Pep Guardiola's side have succeeded in signing both Ruben Dias and Ederson from Estádio da Luz - two players that have had hugely positive impacts on title-winning campaigns under the Catalan coach.
Elsewhere, Joao Cancelo and Bernardo Silva have both had history with the Eagles, and as in the case of the aforementioned pairing, become hugely successful at the Etihad Stadium.
As such, that will give City officials a tendency to look towards Benfica's glowing academy for rising and emerging talents.

The latest of those concerns a central defender, who despite being just 18 years-old, has become a mainstay in the heart of Roger Schmidt's defence this season.
Now, according to the information of Le10 Sport, as translated and relayed by Sport Witness, Manchester City are among a trio of European giants keeping tabs on Benfica's António Silva.
The report centres around the interest of Ligue 1's Paris Saint-Germain, who are positioned strongly for a deal after failing to sign the teenager in the recent summer window.
However, it is stressed that the French club must ‘beware of the competition’ for the rapidly rising Portugal youth international star, who is the most followed player in the European market.

Along with PSG, both Manchester City and Real Madrid ‘are there’ in a line for the central defender.
Unfortunately for all of the aforementioned interested parties, it is highlighted that Antonio Silva's current Benfica does not expire until the summer of 2027 and includes a staggering €100 million release clause.
That is a fee that none of the clubs are expected to pay.

António Silva has made a total of 13 senior appearances so far this season for Benfica, including four in the Champions League group stage.
Included in those 13 appearances are five clean sheets, and as such, it is hardly surprising that Europe's biggest contenders would be interested in taking a player of this talent at the earliest possible opportunity.
For Manchester City, a big-money move remains unlikely at present, given their wealth of options in the heart of defence.

Additionally, Etihad officials recently went ahead with signing Manuel Akanji from Borussia Dortmund, and the Swiss international has proven to be a major success since completing a deal at the end of the recent summer transfer window.
