Tommy Fury’s claims that he has been denied access into the USA has been exposed by a fan on social media.
Fury, who is scheduled to fight American youtuber turned boxer, Jake Paul in August failed to attend the pre fight press conference in New York.
Fury claimed that he was denied entry to the US from England by Homeland Security officers who stopped him at Heathrow Airport.

Fury explained his situation in a video posted on his Instagram page.
He said: “Me and my team this morning arrived at Heathrow Airport ready for the press conference, ready to fly out.”
“And as soon as I entered the airport I got pulled to one side and I was told by the Homeland Security officer that was there that my ESTA had been denied and I wasn’t able to travel to the USA for a reason that I apparently know.”
“I can stand here and I say I’ve done absolutely nothing wrong and I have no clue why I’m not allowed to travel to the USA.”

“Like I said I’ve been training for a fight the whole time, and that’s all I’ve been doing. I have no clue why they would not allow me to travel today.”
Fury added: “Now I am having to the embassy and try to resolve it. I don’t know why this has happened today, this is a massive shock to me and my whole team.”
“Obviously it is a matter that needs to be resolved, its government issues and it’s a lot bigger than the fight right now so I’m just trying to get it sorted.”

However, it seems like Fury’s claims could be flawed, as one eagle eyed fan spotted that the boxer was actually in the US last month with his partner, and wondered why he couldn’t use the same visa to travel.
The fan named Shaun tweeted: “Why would a homeland security agent be at Heathrow, why would you go to the airport without an ESTA and why’s he not using the VISA he used to go with his bird last month? Flapped it big time.”
This comes after Fury’s brother, unbeaten heavyweight champion, Tyson was also refused entry to the US due to his connections to Daniel Kinahan.

Fury’s opponent, Jake Paul is still adamant that the fight will go ahead as he sent a stern message to the Brit.
He said: “Tommy, no matter how hard you try to get out of this fight, I’m going to do everything in my power to not let you weasel your way out.”
“My team and my partners have made it clear the steps you need to take to solve your latest excuse. Take them or admit you’re a scared little b***h. #TommyFumbles”

Will the much anticipated fight go ahead? Only time will tell.
