Joe Rogan has addressed the footage of boxing legend Mike Tyson fighting a fan aboard a plane - comparing it to 'headbutting a beehive'.
Tyson was involved in an incident on Thursday which saw him unload punches on a passenger while preparing to fly from San Francisco to Florida.

It's been claimed 'Iron Mike' was harassed by two men prior to the situation turning physical and Rogan is still gobsmacked, half a week later.
The UFC commentator explained on the latest episode of the Joe Rogan Experience: "It's real simple, that dude was a douchebag.
"He was annoying one of the baddest motherf**kers that's ever walked the face of the Earth. It’s so dumb! It's not even kicking a beehive, it’s like headbutting a beehive."

Tyson's representatives claim a bottle was thrown at the former world champion after he'd been friendly in a prior conversation.
Rogan continued: "If you find yourself where Mike Tyson's reaching over the back of an airline seat and punching you in the face, I think you probably earned it.
"People get crazy. They think just because he's Mike Tyson, he's famous, he can't just punch you. You're annoying him! He's gonna just f**king hit you like a normal person would."

Police confirmed to ESPN that they'd been called to the scene and one man had been left with a bloodied forehead.
A statement from Tyson's team reads: "Unfortunately, Mr. Tyson had an incident on a flight with an aggressive passenger who began harassing him and threw a water bottle at him while he was in his seat."
The lawyers of Melvin Townsend III, the 'victim' on the receiving end of the blows, told TMZ: "Our client is a big Mike Tyson fan. When Mike Tyson boarded the plane, he became overly excited. At first, their interaction was cordial.
"At a certain point, Mr. Tyson clearly became agitated by an overly excited fan and began to strike him in an excessive manner.

"This situation could have been avoided simply by contacting the flight attendant. Our client denies throwing a water bottle prior to being struck by Mr. Tyson.
"To state the obvious, as one of the greatest fighters of all time, Mr. Tyson should have exercised greater restraint before using his hands on an overly excited fan."
Tyson eventually made it to Miami and took pictures with fans outside his hotel room.

Rogan isn't the only one who stuck up for the 55-year-old.
Jake Paul, who is also a good friend of 'The Baddest Man on the Planet', tweeted a message of support.
"If you’re being heckled in public like Mike Tyson was you should legally get a hall pass to beat someone's ass," he declared.
"This generation thinks they can get away with anything."
