The YouTuber-turned-boxer was originally due to settle his feud with Tommy Fury at New York's Madison Square Garden on August 6.
But the British fighter has been forced to withdraw from the bout after being denied entry to the United States.
Paul will instead face his former sparring partner Rahman Jr, the son of former heavyweight world champion Hasim Rahman.
The 31-year-old holds a professional record of 12-1, having suffered his first defeat in April.

Announcing the fight on Instagram, Paul released footage of the pair clashing during a previous sparring session.
In the clip, Rahman Jr appears to be angry with Paul 'talking s***' and promises to knock out the YouTuber.
"Now who's the b***h?," says Rahman Jr, squaring up to Paul.

Paul uploaded the clip to his Instagram account on Thursday, alongside the caption: "I've wanted this fight ever since Hasim ran his big mouth to me 2 years ago in the gym.
"My brother and manager didn't want me to take this fight. They said it was too much risk. The New York state athletic commission didn't want to approve this fight because they said Hasim had too much experience for me.
"He has over 100 amateur fights. 10x more than Tommy… but I'm built different. I'm psychotic. CHAOTIC. PROBLEMATIC.
"But 'he's a heavyweight' they said. It don't matter to me, I'm the fighting flea, they can't hit me… I'm slippery like butter and with speed like no other. My power is unique and my style is sleek.

"I've made the toughest men weak. I'm not afraid of any man or what "can" happen. No boxer has taken this big of a risk this early in their career.
"They don't have my heart, they don't have my soul, they don't have my drive, and they definitely don't have my team.
"Welcome to history. Take a picture."
Paul is already looking ahead to his next fight after Rahman Jr and has said he would be willing to travel to the UK to face Fury.
"I'm confident you are a scared little boy who doesn't want to fight or understand business. I will pay you $500K to fight me in the UK," Paul wrote on Twitter.

"I will do it shortly after August 6. You accept?"
However, Fury has turned down the offer, replying: "I wouldn't get out of bed to fight you for $500k.
"Let me know when you’re ready to have a serious conversation."
