Kate Scott forced to apologise as Netflix experience 'embarrassing' technical difficulties during Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson event

Kate Scott apologised on behalf of Netflix during the broadcast of Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson.

Kate Scott was forced to apologise during the Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson event amid technical issues on Netflix.

After the opening fight of the main-card, where Neeraj Goyat outpointed Whindersson Nunes, Scott introduced boxing legends Lennox Lewis and Evander Holyfield to the broadcast.

Lewis and Holyfield, who both fought Tyson during their legendary careers, touched on the main-event alongside Andre Ward.

But Holyfield, who famously had his ear bit by 'Iron' Mike, couldn't hear a word Scott was saying as she asked Lewis to relay her question amid sound issues on Netflix.

On the punditry desk, she said: "Evander, I apologise, I'm so sorry about the sound. Lennox, thank you for helping us out with the interview, we appreciate you.

"Good to see you tonight. Good to see both of you champions with us tonight."

The production team also kept her mic on when she was talking to the gallery. She could be heard saying: "Where are we guys?"

Scott's apology comes after complaints from boxing fans over streaming issues.

They hit out at the picture quality before slamming the buffering.
