Canelo Alvarez says a potential boxing match against UFC star Conor McGregor would be 'easy money'.
Alvarez is set to defend his super-middleweight titles this weekend as he takes on Edgar Berlanga in Las Vegas.
The 34-year-old is one of the biggest names in boxing and is therefore often linked with facing up against some huge names.

One of those is combat sports star McGregor, who has previously stepped into the ring to face Floyd Mayweather.
A bout between Alvarez and the Irishman has been touted but nothing has yet come to fruition.
Recently asked in the build-up to his fight with Berlanga whether he would entertain a battle with the UFC phenomenon, Alvarez gave an assured answer on the matter.

"Yeah, why not? Then we'll show boxing is better," said Canelo when speaking to Manouk Akopyan.
"Easy, easy. Very easy money, [I knock him out] at the time I want.
"One round, two rounds, three rounds - whatever I want.”
McGregor has been linked with a return to the UFC but has not fought since his defeat to Dustin Poirier back in July 2021.

A scheduled bout on June 29 against Michael Chandler had to be cancelled due to the 36-year-old sustaining a broken toe.
Despite a three-year hiatus from the octagon, UFC boss Dana White recently provided an update on McGregor's current situation.
"That's a great question, Conor’s going to be 36 in July," said White. "He’s got plenty of money.

"I don’t ever think that guys like that, Jon Jones, who knows, maybe he’ll fight again, maybe he won’t.
"Conor McGregor, maybe he’ll fight again, maybe he won’t.
"You never know with some of the guys that get to that level. You never know if you’re ever going to see them again.
"The other thing with getting older, you get injured a lot easier, you get hurt a lot easier.

"More injuries happen than did when you were younger, and you’re less willing to step in there with an injury than when you were young and hungry and broke.
"The Jon Jones', the Conor McGregors, these guys, I’m never very optimistic as it is."
