UFC legend Chael Sonnen has revealed the 'inside scoop' he's heard about Conor McGregor's next fight.
McGregor was supposed to return to the UFC last June when he was due to face Michael Chandler in the main-event of UFC 303 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
However, a toe injury forced him to withdraw from their welterweight clash.

But Dana White is working on something for the Irishman as he dropped a massive hint over his UFC comeback.
According to Sonnen, he seems to know what the UFC are planning for the 'Notorious'.
The former UFC middleweight and UFC light-heavyweight title challenger claims the promotion are targetting McGregor vs. Chandler for January in California.

On his YouTube channel, he said: "An inside scoop that I’m getting is that the UFC wants all of those same things [McGregor vs. Chandler] they just wanted it in January in California."
The American added: "I was blown away with the evidence that Conor McGregor- top draw, red panty night- is still in full effect."
A December date (UFC 310) had also been mooted for the 36-year-old's highly-anticipated return.
But Sonnen seems to think White and Co. are looking to book the former UFC double champion for what would be the first pay-per-view event of 2025.

McGregor has never fought in the state of California in his distinguished MMA career.
The UFC have not visited The Golden State since last February when the famed Octagon set up shop in the Honda Center in Anaheim for UFC 298, which was headlined by Alexander Volkanovski vs. Ilia Topuria.
Chandler, who has competed in California under the Bellator banner, hasn't fought since November 2022 when he suffered a defeat to Dustin Poirier.

He's been holding out for a fight against McGregor and appears to be closing in on a new date for their showdown.
