Queensland hardly put a foot wrong in the 16-10 win against New South Wales last night.
There were some truly amazing efforts right across the park.
Let's check out the player ratings.
1. Kalyn Ponga - 7.5
Great game. Has been hot and cold this season as well as struggling with injury but put in a top performance for the Maroons.
2. Selwyn Cobb - 7
Started off slow, let Wighton past him for the Blues first try, but got better as the game went on. Put in a beautiful grubber for Gagai to score off.
3. Valentine Holmes - 8.5
See! I told you. He's got a time machine and is playing like a youngster. Wonderful performance, solid in defence, never put a foot wrong when got moved to the wing due to Coates' injury. Topped the night off with a try too.
4. Dane Gagai - 6.
Pretty good effort from the Knights centre. Made a few errors defensively but came back with some important tackles. Crossed for a try.
5. Xavier Coates - 4
Didn't get to see the best from Coates, who was forced to leave the field quite early with an ankle injury.
6 - Cam Munster 9.5
Oh my goodness! What a game. Just phenomenal.
7. Daly Cherry-Evans - 8
The Queensland captain started off a bit sheepish but then kicked into gear. Got better and more influential as the night went on. Scored a beautiful solo try and had a top kicking game.
8. Tino Fa'asuamaleaui - 8
Solid effort from the young forward. Did everything that was asked of him.
9. Ben Hunt 6.5
Had a good start to the game when he was on the field, and made a big impact when he came back on in the last quarter.
10. Josh Papalii - 7
Same as big Tino. Top game, and just did his job.
11. Kurt Capewell - 7
As always, Capewell was put in a great performance. Didn't miss a beat when moved to the centres due to a team reshuffle.
12. Felise Kaufusi - 7
Man, I bet all bosses wish they had Queensland players as staff member. Another one who just went out there and did what was asked of him.
13. Reuben Cotter - 9.99999999999999
Wow! Just Wow! Were there 50 Cotters on the field? He seemed to be everywhere! Massive in defence, only missed three tackles, played the full 80 minutes - what a debut. I should have just given him 10.
14. Harry Grant - 8.5
How good is this guy? Made such an impact off the bench, the Maroons really lifted when he was on the field.
15. Lindsay Collins - 8
Another one who did exactly what he was signed up for. Nothing flash, just a good hard solid game.
16. Patrick Carrigan - 9.5
Same with this guy. As soon as he came off the bench, Qld went up a level. Made a huge impact by flattening Wighton and just seemed to keep the same tempo for the rest of the game. Brilliant debut.
17. Jeremiah Nanai - 6.
His night seemed to be over just as it begun, but thankfully recovered from a leg injury to return late in the game for a solid debut.
