Paris Saint-Germain star Neymar’s father has provided an update on his future amid links to Chelsea.
The 30-year-old’s time in Ligue 1 appears to be coming to an end this summer.
Chelsea defender Thiago Silva urged Neymar to join the club publicly in recent days.

He said: “He has to go to Chelsea. If it happens, it will be for the best. He needs no comments… So far, I don’t know anything, but I hope it comes to fruition.”
It has been reported that the Blues are one of only three clubs who could afford a deal for Neymar this summer.
They join Manchester United, who would have to sell Cristiano Ronaldo to fund a move, and Newcastle United on the list.

Thomas Tuchel previously worked with Neymar during their time together in Paris and could be set to make a sensational move for his former player.
The forward is yet to ask to leave the Ligue 1 side but ‘no longer feels comfortable’ in Paris, with a ‘separation seeming inevitable’, according to reports in France.
Neymar’s father has provided an update on his future now following reports that his former club Santos have contacted him.

As quoted by Get French Football News, his father has denied the rumours regarding Santos’ alleged bid.
He branded these as ‘false’, with Neymar telling his relatives the same thing.
Furthermore, Santos president Andres Rueda opened up on the situation regarding the potential Chelsea target.
He revealed that he has “received more than 100 messages talking about Neymar” in just a single day and he added that “actions are underway”.

It remains to be seen as to whether Chelsea would be interested in a move for the world-class winger.
He is clearly a fan of Tuchel, and this could be a factor in any decision making this summer if Chelsea are interested.
As quoted by Chelsea’s official website back when Tuchel was appointed at Stamford Bridge, Neymar heaped praise on the German.

He said: “I would give my life on the pitch for Tuchel.”
Tuchel is said to be ‘pressing’ for another one of his former players however, in Ousmane Dembele, willing to offer him a contract when his deal at Barcelona expires at the end of the month.
Chelsea have also seen a £55 million bid accepted for Neymar’s international teammate, Raphinha, as they look to complete the signing from Leeds United.
However, Barcelona remain interested in the 25-year-old and could provide competition, meaning that Chelsea may look to alternative options.
