Thomas Tuchel’s decision making with Hakim Ziyech and fellow Blues players could have been one of the reasons as to why he was sacked by Chelsea, according to reports.
The west London side announced on Wednesday morning that they had parted company with the German, with the news coming after their 1-0 loss to Dinamo Zagreb in the Champions League.
He was in the job for just over 19 months, having taken over from Frank Lampard at the start of 2021.

Chelsea will now be searching for their new permanent appointment for the role, with Graham Potter and Mauricio Pochettino being the frontrunners for the job.

The Telegraph are now reporting that in recent weeks, some of the Blues players had been ‘left in the cold’ in regards to Tuchel’s decisions.
They would be left out of action for the side before being included ‘unexpectedly’, only to be unused soon after once again.
One of the examples the report talks about is Ziyech's situation.

The former Moroccan international faced an uncertain future at the club throughout the summer and was heavily linked with a return to Ajax towards the end of the window.
Despite the speculation, he started in Chelsea’s 2-1 loss to Southampton last week.
He was then substituted on at half-time against Zagreb, but put in a poor performance as the Blues eventually fell to defeat.

Chelsea released a statement regarding Tuchel on Wednesday morning: “Chelsea Football Club has today parted company with Head Coach Thomas Tuchel.
“On behalf of everyone at Chelsea FC, the Club would like to place on record its gratitude to Thomas and his staff for all their efforts during their time with the Club.
"Thomas will rightly have a place in Chelsea’s history after winning the Champions League, the Super Cup and Club World Cup in his time here.

“As the new ownership group reaches 100 days since taking over the Club, and as it continues its hard work to take the club forward, the new owners believe it is the right time to make this transition.
“Chelsea’s coaching staff will take charge of the team for training and the preparation of our upcoming matches as the Club moves swiftly to appoint a new head coach.
“There will be no further comment until a new head coach appointment is made.”
Brighton have given Chelsea permission to speak to Potter about the vacant role in west London.

He has a £10 million buy-out clause in his contract on the south coast, although the Blues do not have any issues about paying the fee.
