Lee Carsley has been in charge on an interim basis, leading the Three Lions in four Nations League clashes - including a 3-1 victory over Finland last weekend.
Several high-profile managers have been linked with replacing Southgate, including Tuchel, who has previously worked in England with Chelsea.

And according to The Times, Tuchel has AGREED to become the new England manager after concluding a deal with the FA and an unveiling is expected this week.
After a 'rapid conclusion' to negotiations, the 51-year-old will become England's first German-born boss and just the third foreign manager after Sven-Goran Eriksson and Fabio Capello.
