Thomas Tuchel has outlined what he expects from his Chelsea players in terms of commitment once the summer transfer window closes.
The transfer window slams shut on Thursday, with Tuchel’s side still heavily active in the market as they look to bring in reinforcements and also trim their squad.
Ethan Ampadu is set to move on loan to Spezia, with an option to buy included in the deal, while Callum Hudson-Odoi is also set for a loan move to Bayer Leverkusen.

Trevoh Chalobah will remain at the club after receiving reassurances about his game time in both the short and long term at Stamford Bridge.
With several outgoings, there are set to be some incomings and one is close to completion.
Wesley Fofana has travelled to New York to undergo his Chelsea medical ahead of completing his move from Leicester City this week.

The defender has been one of Tuchel’s priority targets during the transfer window, with the Blues now set to land the 21-year-old.
Further upfield, Anthony Gordon has been linked with a switch to London as Chelsea have seen several bids rejected.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has also been linked with Chelsea this summer as Tuchel looks to reunite with his former player.
However, both deals appear to be unlikely to happen as things stand, with Chelsea now looking to bring in Crystal Palace star Wilfried Zaha.
It remains to be seen as to whether the Blues can complete these deals, with the window closing in just a matter of days.

However, Tuchel has revealed what he expects from his side once the window slams shut and they start to compete on all fronts.
Speaking to the press, as quoted by football.london, Tuchel said: “From September 1, there are no more excuses and no more distractions.
“I am very, very happy when the transfer window is over because then we have different leverage to push players, and then the commitment has to be 100%, we will not accept 99%.

“The reality is that sometimes, in the last days of the window, you have to simply accept it no matter what you wish for. It's the reality."
Chelsea will push to back Tuchel in the coming days, but for now the German prepares his side to face Southampton on Tuesday night.
Then, all focus will go on the transfer window as he looks to add final touches to his squad.
