Thomas Tuchel has been given the powers by Todd Boehly this summer to be in control of how Chelsea’s transfer window goes and he has already targeted three potential attacking signings, according to reports.
Chelsea are set to see Romelu Lukaku leave after just one season to return to Inter Milan as he tries to push through a move, while talks begin between the clubs in the hope of striking a loan agreement.
It will be a frustrating sight for Chelsea following the £97.5m outlay they paid last year to bring the Belgium international back to Stamford Bridge.

Now Tuchel and the new consortium led by Boehly and Clearlake Capital need to begin plans of helping the Chelsea head coach rebuild his squad, including replacing Lukaku - with the Blues reportedly wanting a ‘specialist replacement’ if he is to depart.
According to The Telegraph, Manchester City forward Raheem Sterling and RB Leipzig’s Christopher Nkunku have both been shortlisted.
Ousmane Dembele of Barcelona, who is set to be a free agent next month, is also of interest however the Blues ‘are not thought to be close to reaching an agreement’ for the Frenchman.

Tuchel is set to be given £200m to spend after Boehly’s promise in a meeting with the Chelsea head coach that they will do everything to try to deliver his wishes regarding both incomings and outgoings.
Gabriel Jesus has also been linked with a switch to Stamford Bridge amid suggestions he is likely to depart Pep Guardiola’s side following the signing of Erling Haaland from Borussia Dortmund.
The transfer window opens on Friday and Chelsea have just under two months to get their squad ready for the opening day of the 2022/23 season.

Tuchel wants Chelsea to compete with Man City and Liverpool for the title but is fully aware that Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United could join the race at the top of the table.
"It will be a super tough race,” admitted Tuchel last month on the difficulty of the league next season. Manchester United will be in the race and Tottenham will be in the race with Antonio Conte for sure.
"We want to stay in the race and Liverpool and Man City do everything to make their squads bigger and they set the standard so high. This is the challenge in which we compete."
Chelsea will learn their league fate on Thursday 16th June when the fixture calendar is released.
