Presnel Kimpembe does not want to leave PSG even though Chelsea have made a transfer offer, according to reports.
Chelsea are on the search for defenders this summer as Thomas Tuchel looks to refresh and rebuild his backline for the upcoming season.
Having lost the services of both Antonio Rudiger to Real Madrid and Andreas Christensen to Barcelona on free transfers, the Blues have been left with holes to plug in defence.

The west London side took their first step last week though when they completed the signing of Napoli centre-back Kalidou Koulibaly for £34 million.
Having played in Italy for eight years, the Senegalese international committed his long-term future to the Blues, signing a four-year deal with Tuchel hopeful he can emulate a similar level of longevity as Thiago Silva.
For Chelsea, this is only the beginning of their summer spending spree, as they are reported to still be eyeing up a total of four defensive additions.

The Blues have been wrapped up in a transfer saga since last summer for Sevilla’s Jules Kounde, but they are set to make a bid this week for the Frenchman.
It is believed that Chelsea will not submit an initial bid that reaches the asking price for Kounde, but they have been handed a potential boost, as their rivals for the signing, Barcelona, have already spent big amounts on both Robert Lewandowski and Raphinha.
The Catalan club are not intending on spending big for the defender but remain in the race.

It has also been reported the Blues are keen to bring in another wing-back option this summer, with Jonathan Clauss of RC Lens linked with a move.
Available for less than £10 million, Clauss has one year left on his contract and could prove an excellent backup for the wing-back spot.
Remaining in Ligue 1, Tuchel has been eyeing up a reunion with PSG defender Presnel Kimpembe.

The 26-year-old has already been in conversations with the head coach and has had former teammate Silva message him about a move to Stamford Bridge.
However, the Blues have taken a blow in their negotiations, as reported by L’Equipe, Kimpembe is wanting to stay in Paris.
While Chelsea have made an offer, alongside another club, both PSG and the player do not want a move to go through.
This hands Tuchel’s side a dilemma, they have already had their move for Nathan Ake fall through and now Kimpembe is not wanting to leave Paris.

The Blues may have to start monitoring other targets, as they wish to acquire a minimum of two central defenders this summer.
