Levi Colwill wants to remain at Chelsea and Armando Broja will hold more talks with the club as he seeks assurances from head coach Thomas Tuchel, according to reports.
Chelsea have already lost some significant players this summer and Tuchel is not wanting many more to find the exit door.
In defence, the Blues have lost two of their central defenders to Spain, with both Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen leaving on free transfers.

At the other end of the pitch, Romelu Lukaku returned to Inter Milan on loan just a year after his £97.5 million move to Stamford Bridge.
The west London side have acquired the services of Kalidou Koulibaly and Raheem Sterling in an attempt to plug the holes, but more improvements and additions still need to be made.
Tuchel is keen to strengthen the defence in particular, earlier in the summer he described that he wanted four defensive additions.

But after the signing of Koulibaly he has since claimed he wants a minimum of one more.
Multiple targets have slipped away from Chelsea, Nathan Ake, Matthijs de Ligt, Raphinha and Robert Lewandowski are just some of the players they have missed out on.
However, this could provide an opportunity for some of the younger players in the squad should they choose to remain under the management of Tuchel next season.
It has been previously reported that Tuchel has told both Colwill and Broja to hold off on deciding their futures, suggesting they would have a role to play next season.
Both youngsters impressed last year, Colwill was on loan at Huddersfield Town and helped them get to the Championship Play-Off final in which they suffered a 1-0 loss at Wembley.

For Broja, he had a breakthrough season in the Premier League with Southampton, scoring nine goals in all competitions and has been the subject of a lot of interest this summer.
West Ham looked to be close to getting a deal over the line for the Albanian striker, but Chelsea frustrated the east London side with their unwillingness to cooperate.
Ben Jacobs has reported that Colwill ideally is wanting to remain at Chelsea and not force a permanent move, but Broja is being more ‘bullish’.

Pre-season has been challenging for the 20-year-old, after he suffered an injury and did not feature in any of the three fixtures as he flew back to England while the rest of the team continued the United States tour.
He will reportedly hold more talks with Chelsea now that they have returned from America.
It may not have been in Tuchel’s original plans, but these two players could play a big role in the season ahead for the Blues should they stick around in 2022-23.
