Thomas Tuchel is fighting to keep striker Armando Broja at the club amid interest from West Ham United, it has been reported.
The 20-year-old has been subject of Premier League interest this summer after scoring six goals in the competition during a loan spell at Southampton last season.
The Albania international returned to Chelsea training in the United States for their pre-season tour but flew back to England just days later, suffering an injury during a session.

It was previously reported that the Albanian international is set to join West Ham as David Moyes has made him a transfer priority.
Since, Tuchel has opened up on Broja’s future and admitted that Chelsea have received several offers for the player.
“Armando was injured and I don't expect Armando to leave. We are aware of offers and interest, it just tells us that he has a lot of potential,” he said previously.

"We will make a decision together, the owners and me, and also in the end with the player. Right now, from when he arrived, it was clear that he tried to impress and become a Chelsea player as soon as possible.
“After his loan in Southampton, the situation was very clear that he wanted to make the next step and show his improvement and make an impression in pre-season.
"Unfortunately, he injured himself. There's a lot of noise because there are a lot of offers and interest in him.

"So let's see how this goes. But I am pretty calm about it. We know the situation. He has a contract and from there we go.”
It has now been revealed that Chelsea and West Ham are still in negotiations for the striker, as reported by Fabrizio Romano.
West Ham are said to still be pushing for the move and have been told ‘no way’ for a loan move this summer.

However, Romano continues to reveal that Tuchel is a big fan of the 20-year-old and wants him to remain at the club.
With Romelu Lukaku having departed the club, less than a year after his £97.5 million move, Chelsea have a spot in their attack.
While Raheem Sterling has signed, the winger is not the same personnel as Lukaku, and Broja could be handed a chance in a Chelsea shirt.
However, it remains to be seen as to whether he will remain at Stamford Bridge after the transfer window slams shut.

With Tuchel fighting to keep him, the head coach must guarantee Broja first-team football next season.
