Bayern Munich star Alphonso Davies has made an honest admission regarding Chelsea this summer.
The Canada international was one of Bayern Munich’s brightest sparks before suffering a long-term injury last season.
He will be hoping to earn his way back into the fold in Munich as he recovers from injury to rediscover his previous form that labelled him as one of the best attacking full-backs in the world.

The 21-year-old has now made an honest admission regarding his affiliation to Chelsea, handing the Blues a surprising boost if they were ever to pursue a transfer for the wing-back one day.
Davies would no doubt fit Thomas Tuchel’s system like a glove if he were to be part of the squad, as a natural athlete and left wing-back.
Speaking to ESPN FC, Davies was asked about which team he would choose to support in the United Kingdom if he had to choose one.

Without hesitation, Davies revealed a previous affiliation with Chelsea, having grown up as a fan of the club during his childhood.
He revealed: “I mean, I grew up watching Chelsea. So Chelsea (are the team I’d support in the UK.).
However, it is unlikely that the Blues will be looking to make a move for the youngster any time soon.
With a deal in Munich until 2025, Davies would likely cost a fortune if he was to depart the Bundesliga giants.

Furthermore, Tuchel is stacked in the left wing-back department.
Emerson Palmieri has returned from a loan spell at Lyon to join Marcos Alonso, Ben Chilwell and Kenedy as options in the position.
Furthermore, talented youngster Ian Maatsen has recently joined Burnley on loan and will be hoping to break his way into Chelsea’s first team squad next summer.

Tuchel is keen to add reinforcements to his team this window, however, as speaking following Chelsea’s 4-0 loss to Arsenal, the German said: “Listen, it's the same players, so why should anything change?
“We will see, hopefully, development but at the moment, we have the same issues because we have the same players.”
It remains to be seen as to whether he will be successful in bringing reinforcements in this window.
Leicester City defender Wesley Fofana is the latest name to be linked with a switch to Stamford Bridge.

However, it is unclear as to whether the Blues would be willing to match any valuation that the Foxes have for their young star this summer.
