Fans surprised after WWE fail to acknowledge who was in the front row for John Cena heel turn at Elimination Chamber

He was in attendance alongside Travis Scott and Nav.

One of the most high-profile celebrities in the world was ringside for Saturday night's Elimination Chamber event, although WWE failed to mention his name throughout.

A number of celebrities were spotted at the Elimination Chamber in Toronto, Canada, including Lil Yachty, Robbie Amell, Italia Ricci, Dion Dawkins, Nav and Travis Scott.

In fact, Scott was heavily involved in a much-talked-about segment between John Cena and Cody Rhodes as he hit 'The American Nightmare' with a hefty right hand to the face that soon went viral.

Grammy-nominated rapper and songwriter Nav, real name Navraj Singh Goraya, was also introduced to the WWE universe on their Netflix broadcast.

But to the surprise of many, Canadian rapper Drake was not acknowledged by the company, despite his presence behind commentators Michael Cole, Wade Barrett and Pat McAfee at the Rogers Centre.

Here's how fans on social media reacted to Drake's recent appearance at the Elimination Chamber event.

One fan said: "It’s a little strange that WWE didn’t acknowledge Drake was in attendance but acknowledged Nav," while another commented: "He probably told them not to so that he wouldn't get booed."

A third wrote: "WWE not acknowledging that one of the biggest stars (Drake) in the world is in the arena? Also, he’s from there? They’re usually thirsty for attention. Lmao."

A fourth said: "Interesting that Toronto’s own Drake was in the building and WWE never highlighted him or gave him an iso shot like they did every other celebrity?!"

A fifth added: "WWE not acknowledging Drake is hilarious."

Logan Paul, meanwhile, referenced the beef between Drake and Kendrick Lamar during the Elimination Chamber match as he wrote "OVO" and "Humble" on two different sides of his pod.

OVO is the name of Drake's label and stands for October's Very Own, while Humble is a song by Lamar from his fourth studio album.

The much-publicised beef between Drake and Lamar was once again thrown into the spotlight last month, when the latter performed his 'Not Like Us' diss track at the Super Bowl in New Orleans.

In this song, Lamar makes reference to Drake's 2021 album as he says: "Certified Lover Boy? Certified p**ophile."

Drake's legal team issued a statement about his ongoing legal battle over Lamar's diss track, just hours before the song was performed in front of millions at the Super Bowl halftime show.
