WWE fans are convinced Vince McMahon is secretly back running storylines for the company after the latest Wrestlemania booking.
The longtime CEO of the WWE returned to the company following an eight-month hiatus from the business as a result of allegations of sexual misconduct over the course of 16 years.
It caused a ripple through the wrestling industry as many had grown to enjoy McMahon’s son-in-law Triple H being in charge of the creative direction of the company.

Vince’s daughter Stephanie resigned from the company, however, it was announced that Triple H would remain in charge of the storylines and that McMahon’s return was only to facilitate a sale of the company.
Or, so we thought.
Some WWE fans have convinced themselves that the 77-year-old is back running creative decisions behind the scenes based on the latest Wrestlemania booking.
On Monday Night Raw this week, giant superstar Omos sent out a challenge for superstar Brock Lesnar to face him at Wrestlemania.
For many fans, this felt like an odd storyline decision given the star power Lesnar has and that Omos is still a relative newcomer.

Not to mention that the Beast Incarnate has been locked in an unresolved story with Bobby Lashley for months now.
Lesnar hasn’t yet accepted Omos’ challenge, and this could very much be a swerve to continue Lashley and Brock into Wrestlemania.
However, the randomness of the booking hasn’t stopped many fans from believing that Vince McMahon is back to being the man in charge.
One fan wrote: “If WWE actually does Brock Lesnar vs Omos at Wrestlemania 39, that will convince me Vince McMahon is back in charge of WWE Creative.

“That makes 0 sense and it sounds like the type of 1980s match Vince loves.”
Another said: “I'm not totally against the idea of Brock Lesnar v Omos, but I'm definitely against it happening at WrestleMania.”
A third wrote: “Brock vs Omos has Vince written all over it.”
Meanwhile, Fightful.com journalist Sean Ross claimed a WWE talent reached out to him believing that Vince was back in charge of creative.

However, fellow wrestling journalist Wade Keller has debunked those claims.
He tweeted: “I was told flat out today that Vince McMahon is not back involved in WWE Creative.”
Omos against Brock would make for an interesting match, but many fans are definitely keen to see something more from Lesnar at Wrestlemania.
