Logan Paul may be the new big thing on the wrestling block but WWE chief Triple H has revealed he didn’t know who the internet sensation was before he signed for the company.
Triple H, whose real name is Paul Levesque, was a guest on Paul’s IMPAULSIVE podcast chatting about the YouTuber’s ‘multi-year, multi-event’ deal, Vince McMahon, and his own wrestling career.

The podcast dropped fresh off Logan Paul’s impressive singles debut at SummerSlam against his one-time partner The Miz, a bout in which he showed off some serious athleticism and natural ability.
Paul made his debut back at WrestleMania in April where he teamed with The Miz, of course bringing many eyes to the matchup because of his online presence.
However, one person who apparently wasn’t too familiar with Paul’s presence was Triple H himself, who brutally admitted to Logan that he had no clue who he was before he signed.

Triple H told Paul: “You want me to be completely honest? I said ‘Who the f**k is that?’
“Yeah, no offence. It’s funny because some people talk about our business and how they watched as a kid. That means they’ve never watched and they don’t wanna offend me. It’s not for everybody.”
He continued: “When they first said it, Kristen Prouty walked in and talked all about it and [I went] ‘Yeah, I don’t know who that is.’ Yeah, I had no idea and then they told me and I started looking at it and I was like ‘Holy s**t, these dudes are massive.’”

Triple H went on to explain that after being shocked by the following of both Logan and his brother Jake, he realised the WWE needed to get Logan signed.
It isn’t all bad news for Paul, however, with Triple H admitting he has been impressed with how quickly the social media star has taken to wrestling.
The former WWE champion also noted how influencers are on WWE’s radar more than ever due to their youthful fanbase.
After impressing at SummerSlam with moves such as a wild frog splash through the announce table, Logan Paul has admitted that he’s caught the wrestling bug.

Earlier this week he announced that he had signed a ‘multi-year, multi-event’ deal with the company that will see him tour and perform all over the world.
Whilst he wasn’t on yesterday’s WWE Raw, expect him to pop back into the ring in the near future.
