Manchester United have had a number of confirmed departures so far this summer, but it is likely that more players will join that list as Erik ten Hag looks to rebuild the squad at Old Trafford.
The Dutch manager has recently started his first pre-season in charge at United. He will be assessing his players to see their strengths and weaknesses ahead of a tough camp ahead of the Premier League campaign.
While there will be hopes to uncover quality from a group that was lacking confidence under the tutelage of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Ralf Rangnick, there will also be an understanding that the bloated squad will need further departures.
Who has already left Manchester United this summer?
A number of players have already left the club this summer, but the majority have been through free transfers.

This means that the club will not receive a fee for these departures, they will need to raise funds through further exits if they want to maximise their potential incomings in the transfer market.
However, some of these players have been on large wages at the club, which means United can start to aim and improve their structure of player wages.
Paul Pogba is United's most high profile case. The midfielder leaves the club on a free for the second time, with another return to Juventus looking imminent.
The Frenchman is joined by fellow midfielders Jesse Lingard, Juan Mata and Nemanja Matic; as well as forward Edinson Cavani on the exit list, all on free transfers as their United contracts expire tomorrow.

This has led United to chase Frenkie de Jong and Christian Eriksen as they look to replace the midfield depth lost through these departures.
Lee Grant has also left the club, as he retires from the professional game after joining United in 2018. Paul McShane retires too, but he'll be continuing his coaching role in the youth team.
There is a further five youth player exits that have been made as their contracts expire.
Who could leave Manchester United this summer?
While there have already been a host of players leave the club, United and Ten Hag need further departures, with too much deadweight in the current squad.

Interestingly, Alex Telles now looks like one of the certainties to leave Old Trafford, with Tyrell Malacia looking likely to be Ten Hag's first signing at the club.
It has been reported that the manager does not see Telles as a credible back-up to Luke Shaw. If a fair offer comes in for the Brazilian, it is likely that United will accept.
It is also probable that Brandon Williams will leave on loan or on a permanent deal. His first-team opportunities at the club would be scarce next season if he remained.

Andreas Pereira is another who is nailed on for a move away from United. He has interest from Flamengo and Fulham.
There is also four more defenders who the Reds would be open to moving on. Eric Bailly, Phil Jones, Axel Tuanzebe and Aaron Wan-Bissaka could all leave the club if offers come in.
Interest in Scott McTominay and Marcus Rashford has been apparent, but United have made it clear that neither will leave the club this summer.

United will be aiming to offload a number of players before the season starts in August.
