Manchester United won another pre-season fixture on Wednesday afternoon as they hosted Wrexham at Carrington.
It appeared like the test was there for new boys Christian Eriksen and Lisandro Martinez, but also for United's younger players who hadn't got much of a chance on tour.
This can now be supported with the line-up and information provided by Rich Fay of the Manchester Evening News, the side included both latest signings in midfield and defence.

Matej Kovar played between the sticks, while Raphael Varane, who has started just one game so far in pre-season, was partnering Martinez. The Frenchman would've been looking to gain some fitness ahead of the season.
Flanking the centre-back partnership was a mix of youth and experience as Ethan Laird operated on the right, whilst Alex Telles reverted back to his more comfortable role on the left-side of defence.
Meanwhile, it seemed important to get James Garner minutes on the pitch. His limited game-time whilst in Thailand and Australia means that Ten Hag hasn't been able to properly judge him yet. He was gifted 90 minutes in the middle of the park.

His partner from the off was Zidane Iqbal. The young midfielder has been excellent this past month and impressed many supporters.
In front of them lay the Denmark international Eriksen, who scored in the first half through a free-kick.
The attacking line saw Tahith Chong on one wing, as he looks to impress ahead of a likely loan spell.
On the other side would be Alejandro Garnacho, who is yet to play on pre-season tour.

In between them would be Hannibal Mejbri, who has been utilised as a false-nine in pre-season.
It was initially believed to be a squad for the youngsters, but the aforementioned report suggests that Ten Hag wanted to see a number of first team players in action, hence the mixed eleven.

The first half saw United go 1-0 up through their new signing's set-piece, but it was a first-half response by the National League team. Defender Aaron Hayden netted for the travelling team ahead of the break.
In the second half, however, United scored three as they went on to become comfortable victors in a 4-1 win.
The previously mentioned report says that the other goalscorers are believed to be Garnacho, Amad and Telles.
