Manchester United continue their Premier League season on Sunday night, away to Everton in what is their fourth consecutive game on the road.
Manchester United will be looking to get their league form back on track after last Sunday’s embarrassment in the Manchester derby.
Ten Hag’s men will look to rediscover the run of form they had in the lead up to the international break, and after last Sunday’s 6-3 hammering they must again show the fight that they lacked so heavily if they want to catch up in league play.Â

The win in Cyprus on Thursday night will have given players a confidence boost, despite making it unnecessarily difficult for themselves, and given them practice dominating the ball which will be the case at Goodison Park.
Here’s how the two teams have fared in recent weeks:
Manchester United
Last five results: W, L, W, L, W

United have been alternating between wins and losses in their last five matches, and with their last match having been a win Erik ten Hag will be hoping his side can break this pattern and pick up another win.
Anthony Martial has three goals from two substitute appearances since coming back from injury and with Everton being a side he has a particularly strong record against, it is likely that we see him start.
Marcus Rashford should also return to the XI, registering two goals and an assist off the bench in Cyprus on Thursday night.
Raphaël Varane will miss the game through injury but Victor Lindelöf has proven an able deputy in the past, although United may struggle on set pieces in this game.

Casemiro is in line for his first Premier League start with last weekend’s disaster at the Etihad sparking the immediate need for change, and the chance to finally bring him into the side for good.
Everton
Last five results: D, D, D, W, W
Advert
Boasting the best defensive record in the Premier League this season, Everton are unbeaten since the second game of the season against Aston Villa.Â
Their last 5 games saw draws against Brentford, Leeds and bitter rivals Liverpool before narrow wins over West Ham United and Southampton.
Everton have still, however, been conceding a dangerous number of chances and have relied on goalkeeper Jordan Pickford heavily.
If they are clinical, United can win this game.
