Manchester United are focusing on the signings of Frenkie de Jong, Vitinha and Malcolm Ebiowei, according to reports.
The Dutch midfielder has been United's primary target this summer, and Friday morning reports say that he is still likely to leave Barcelona even though their financial situation has improved.
Following on from this, Jonathan Shrager has since reported that United are focused on two names alongside the 25-year-old.

Vitinha of FC Porto and Malcolm Ebiowei of Derby County are the two additional players that he mentions.
The former is another option in the centre of midfield, which makes sense considering the lack of depth in the position since the departures of Paul Pogba and Nemanja Matic.
Yet, he does not seem to be the solution to United's holding midfield issue, with him playing alongside the more defensive Marko Grujic in a double pivot in Portugal.

United are currently discussing personal terms with the Portuguese midfielder, but they have not made an official bid according to Shrager.
The 22-year-old is said to have a £34 million release clause, and TalkSPORT reported earlier this week that United are considering triggering this clause.
Reports elsewhere suggest that they could be in for some competition for his signature, with Pedro Sepulveda saying that PSG are having a meeting to decide whether they activate the release clause of the player.
Meanwhile, Ebiowei is an 18-year-old talented forward who played 16 Championship games last season for Wayne Rooney's men.

He also scored seven goals in as many games when playing in the Under-18s Premier League, and is believed to be a top talent that United can pinch.
It was said earlier this week by Fabrizio Romano that the Reds were leading the race for the youngster, alongside Crystal Palace.
Shrager has added that United are now pushing hard for this deal, and that representatives of Ebiowei are keen on the move.
It remains to be seen whether this would be a move to benefit the youth system initially, or if the forward would be a fresh option to bolster United's frontline depth in the first-team.

Another player that United have had reported interest in is Jurrien Timber of Ajax.
The defender worked under Erik ten Hag last season and he's a versatile player that would be useful at the club.
Talks between Timber's camp and United broke down when discussing personal terms, as per Shrager. Those talks are currently stalled, but not ended and United could go back to working on the deal before the conclusion of the window.
