Manchester United have agreed deals in principle to sign Frenkie de Jong and Tyrell Malacia as Erik ten Hag's tenure truly gets underway at Old Trafford.
That's according to Samuel Luckhurst of the MEN, who reported on Wednesday morning that the two deals have been made in principle.
He says that De Jong, who United have been working on for weeks, is expected to sign in a £56.14 million deal, with add-ons on top.

The initial fee for De Jong is understood to be paid in instalments by Manchester United, similarly to Malacia if reports from 1908.nl are to be believed.
United agreed a fee of £12.9m with Feyenoord for Malacia on Tuesday afternoon, MEN sources say.
The aforementioned report also says that United will now move onto other targets, with Christian Eriksen and Ajax duo Antony and Lisandro Martinez also coveted.
Both of Ten Hag's first summer signings are Netherlands internationals.

The report adds that the new manager at Old Trafford favours signings affiliated with Ajax or Dutch football.
United have not vetoed any of his suggested targets, and club sources claim that all players of serious interest have been thoroughly scouted.
Malacia is set to give Englishman Luke Shaw stern competition at left-back.

The 22-year-old was a regular for Feyenoord last season, securing five assists and one goal in the campaign.
Alex Telles' career at the Theatre of Dreams has now been put in doubt following a disappointing season where he was given the opportunity to impress while Shaw was injured.
Luckhurst has also reported that the Brazilian's future is uncertain.

He is not regarded as a credible competitor to Shaw, who is still recognised as United's first choice, on the left.
Brandon Williams is also seeking a loan or permanent move away.
De Jong, however, will be the player that supporters are excited about.
He has been widely reported as integral to the plans that Ten Hag is building at United, and his signing is an example of ambition at the club.
United will jet off on their pre-season tour on 8 July, and Ten Hag will hope both players are finalised by then and can join the squad.
