Cristiano Ronaldo's future has been a huge talking point this summer, and another interesting development has revealed itself.
There have been questions from many as to if we would ever see Cristiano Ronaldo in a Manchester United shirt again after the player missed out on Tour 2022 due to personal issues.
The player reportedly spent the time in Portugal training by himself, with some Sheffield United players surprised to see the player going through the paces on a pitch opposite them in early July.

It was revealed earlier on Monday that the all time record goal-scorer of European football had taken a flight back to Manchester that day, with pictures circulating online of the player supposedly posing in the new kit.
It now looks like the time has come for the player to once again be set through his paces at the Carrington training complex, with the striker reportedly set to join in on Tuesday's training session as the squad re-group after their tour of Thailand and Australia came to an end on Saturday.

The report also makes sure to state that this is only temporary, with Ronaldo's desire still to leave the club this summer, although Erik ten Hag will use the next couple of days to try and convince Ronaldo to stay.
The striker is currently seeking to move to Atletico Madrid this summer in a bid to continue to play in the Champions League, a competition that Manchester United will not be in this coming season due to finishing 6th last Premier League campaign.
The reason Ronaldo will be joining training as normal on Tuesday is due to the fact that he does not want to cause any conflict with the club due to the respect he has for Manchester United, and so will not declare himself absent from training.

Recent reports have suggested that some of those in Ronaldo's camp are in fact attempting to convince him that staying at United may be the player's best option.
This is because they believe Manchester United is a great club and with his help, they can return to winning ways.
It is clear however that Jorge Mendes, Ronaldo's agent, does not share this opinion, with the super-agent offering the player's services to a number of top clubs so far this window.

Erik ten Hag has always been adamant in his opinion of Ronaldo.
"We are planning with Cristiano Ronaldo this season and that's it," the Dutch boss has explained. "I look forward to working with him."
Cristiano Ronaldo is not the only player who may be joining the squad for pre-season training on Tuesday.
UtdDistrict revealed that both Lisandro Martinez and Christian Eriksen may be joining the rest of the squad in pre-season training on Tuesday assuming all paperwork is processed by then after being informed by a club source, although it now looks more likely that only the latter will be in training as the club have still not announced the completed signing of Martinez, and instead only an agreed fee.
Manchester United are funnily enough set to play Atletico Madrid next Saturday, with Ten Hag looking to field his best XI for 90 minutes as he gets ready for the Premier League season.
