Although Manchester United defeating Liverpool 2-1 at Old Trafford on Monday evening is a huge talking point, that is not the only significant moment from the fixture.
Manchester United officially announced the signing of Casemiro from Real Madrid, with the fee rumoured to be around £60 million.
The Brazilian midfielder walked out onto the Old Trafford turf for the first time ahead of kick-off before witnessing Erik ten Hag’s first Premier League win of the season.

Jadon Sancho and Marcus Rashford scored the two goals to bury Liverpool, and despite a Mohamed Salah consolation in the final quarter, the Red Devils ended victorious.
Speaking to MUTV, Bruno Fernandes said: "I think Casemiro is a great player who will do great things for us and we are really happy to have him.
"We know that he has a good mentality, he shows this at Real Madrid and we're hoping for him to come and do it at the same level."

Fernandes was not the only midfielder to comment on the signing.
Speaking to Sky Sports about the new man in Red, former United captain and midfielder Roy Keane explained: “He’s a good signing, they paid a lot of money for him.
“It’s a start but they need more, the problem is any player coming to Man United now, as good as they are, they’re coming into a bad dressing room and a bad group of players.
“The last year or two, they don’t want to run, they don’t seem a good group and that’s a problem for any player, however good they are.

Keane also claimed that although Casemiro is a good player, the amount of money spend on the signing has shown United are “desperate”.
He added: “You can look at the bigger picture and think it’s a lot of money, long contract, bit like (Christian) Eriksen getting a three-year deal. They’re desperate and you’ve got to pay over the odds, I suppose.”
When asked about the signing, manager Erik ten Hag noted to Sky Sports: “He is the cement between the stones, that is what we have been looking for in the summer and found him.

“(I am) very happy with his signing.”
Speaking of the signing himself, Casemiro told the club: “The opportunity to start a new challenge at Manchester United and in the Premier League is extremely exciting.”
“Everybody knows the history of Manchester United, the significance of the club around the world and what it means to its supporters.

"To represent United is an honour and I am ready to give everything to help the team achieve our ambitions.”
