Conor McGregor was forced to show off his ridiculous reflexes when Cat Zingano launched her hat at him back at UFC 184.
Zingano was ready to face UFC bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey at the event and as she made her walk to the Octagon, it appeared she had her cross-hairs set on McGregor.
Full of adrenaline, Zingano whipped her hat off before firing it into the direction of McGregor who brilliantly slipped the incoming hat.
When McGregor was asked about the incident, he played down any talk of a rift with her.
"There's no beef... I hope not," he explained. "I love Cat. I love women's MMA, I'm a big fan of all the female athletes and Cat is up there as one of the best of them... I saw it coming a mile away. I could have caught it but there was some lucky fans behind me so I said, 'I'll let them take the hat.'"
Zingano later apologised to McGregor on social media and jokingly suggested she was helping to keep his reflexes sharp.
"Sorry about the hat, trying to do my part in helping keep your reflexes sharp;) thanks for saying nice things abt me champ," she wrote on Twitter.
McGregor laughed off hat-gate and revealed that he still has the hat despite claiming he gave it away.
"Haha thank you Cat! I still have the hat too haha!! Looking forward to the comeback champ," he said in reply to Zingano's Tweet.
Great head movement by McGregor who is set to return to action at UFC 257 against former rival Dustin Poirier.
