Cronulla and Briton Nikora were robbed of one of the sexiest try assists of the entire NRL season.
In the early stages of the second half of the finals matchup between Sharks and Rabbitohs, we were treated to a sublime around-the-back pass by Cronulla star Briton Nikora.
As the ball was sent high from the kick, the Sharks managed to recoup the ball in South Sydney’s final twenty as it made its way to the second-rower.
Nikora proceeded to pull off one of the plays of the season with a silky flick to Jesse Ramien who went on to place the ball over the line.

It was ecstasy for Sharks fans who had seen their team suffer for most of the game.
However, the suffering wasn’t yet to come in the end as the play was pulled back for offside after being spotted by the bunker.
An absolute tragedy for Sharks and NRL fans alike.
That didn't stop fans online from being awe of the silky skills.
Sharks managed to make up for it just minutes later with a near-entire field run from Ronaldo Mulitalo after an interception to get across the line for a superb try.

The try put the Sharks back into the game perhaps only slightly making up for Briton Nikora’s heartbreak.
