World champion cliff diver Rhiannan Iffland has shown off her latest challenge just days after taking on a dangerous water slide that women are banned from using.

Seven-time cliff diving world champion Iffland is ready for the next challenge of her daring career.

Recently, she travelled to the Area 47 amusement park in Austria to try ‘Europe’s fastest waterslide’ which women are not allowed to use.

The 50mph slide is intended only for men due to the unique safety risks it presents women, but this didn’t deter Iffland who posted a video on social media of her riding the slide.

And the seven-time cliff diving champion isn’t slowing down, as she is set to take on another dangerous stunt just days after the Austrian slide.

The Australian will be competing at the third event of the 2024 Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series, which takes place in Polignano a Mare, Italy.

And she has shown the thrilling location that she will be diving from.

She will take the plunge just steps away from her bed, as she will dive from her balcony which overlooks the stunning waters of the Adriatic Sea.

In a video posted on her Instagram, the 32-year-old shows just how close the jump will be from her bed.

She then climbs onto the edge of her balcony, showing how frightening the drop into Italian seaside will be.

The event will take place on June 30 and will see at least 12 men and 12 women dive in front of a panel of judges who award points based on their acrobatics and artistic moves during the dive.

Men launch from a platform height of 27m, while women jump from 21m.

There are eight events in the World Series calendar including trips to Athens, Sydney and even the Causeway Coast in Northern Ireland.

At the end of the season, total points across the events are combined and a world champion is crowned, winning the King Kahekili trophy, as well as a winner's prize fund.

Iffland has won the previous seven world championships and is currently leading the 2024 season with 36 points, just three ahead of Canada’s Molly Carlsson.
