Luke Littler leaves Good Morning Britain presenters gobsmacked with shock confession on live TV

Luke Littler stunned Ben Shephard and Susanna Reid.

Good Morning Britain hosts Ben Shephard and Susanna Reid were left gobsmacked by Luke Littler's confession about how little he practices playing darts.

Littler made an appearance on Good Morning Britain on Thursday following his World Darts Championship final defeat to Luke Humphries.

He led 4-2 but succumbed to Humphries' pressure as 'Cool Hand' won 7-4 to claim his first world championship title.

Darts fans spotted the youngster's gesture in the final set as they played out an epic showdown.

The 16-year-old gave a brilliant speech during his post-match press conference as fans praised his attitude.

He joined Shephard and Reid on Good Morning Britain after his Ally Pally showing and revealed how little he practices playing darts.

"Believe it or not, [I only practise] half an hour [to] 45 minutes," he told the duo.

Shephard was left shocked and couldn't believe it as he questioned: "An hour [to] 45 minutes?"

Littler replied: "I just practise on my own, it gets boring."

He added: "I'm just bored and my Xbox is next to me. There is a board there, so I just go on my Xbox."

The Warrington darts star beat former world champions Raymond van Barneveld and Rob Cross en route to reaching the final.

But Humphries ended Littler's fairytale as the new world number one spoke highly of his opponent, who is destined for greatness.

"Luke showed incredible grit, incredible determination. We will never, ever see the likes of him again. To go up on that stage in a world final and produce those darts. I was putting him under so much pressure," he said.

"I love the kid to bits and I hope that he's in the Premier League and plays in everything because I would love the share the stage with him a lot more."
