Fans have only just noticed a crazy detail in Usain Bolt’s stunning 100-metre world record run at the 2008 Olympics.
Back in 2008, all eyes were fixated on Bolt as he looked to break the world record and clinch the gold medal inside The National Stadium in Beijing.
The Jamaican superstar went on to break the world record after clocking a stunning time of 9.69 seconds.
However, it was later spotted that when Bolt crossed the line, his shoelace was untied.

In 2009, Bolt set a new record time when he ran the 100 metres in 9.58 seconds during the Berlin World Championships.
Speaking about Bolt crossing the line with his shoelace untied, four-time Olympic medallist Ato Boldon said: “That was Bolt though, right?
“His top is not tucked in to his shorts, (his) shoes are untied (and) he takes the last third of the race off.”
He added: “Good TV, bad sportsmanship. I don't know if I understood that night.

“I think the beauty of it negates him (not just) just running through the line. Because we don't have (another) race like that in the sport. Ever.”
In 2017, after a glittering career, Bolt’s last race ended in disappointment as he pulled up injured whilst running the anchor leg for Jamaica in the 4x100 relay race at the World Athletics Championships.
