Taylor Swift heard making cutting three-word remark to security guard at NFL match involving Travis Kelce

Taylor Swift's response to a security guard ahead of watching her boyfriend Travis Kelce in action earned her plenty of praise online.

Taylor Swift has been praised for a cutting three-word comment to a security guard while attending other half Travis Kelce's game with the Kansas City Chiefs.

The Chiefs beat the Denver Broncos 16-14 in the NFL clash at the Arrowhead Stadium, with pop sensation Swift in attendance to see her boyfriend strut his stuff on the field.

Although she's been busy with the global Eras tour, it was the 17th time Swift has watched Kelce play live, including every home game this season - and she was accompanied by her mum Andrea and dad Scott, as well as regular security guard Drew.

But her arrival at the arena resulted in a viral video on Sunday. Swift, wearing a red blazer and skirt and black corset, got off a cart more than one hour before kick-off ahead of making her way to the VIP Suite.

In a video circulating on social media, a nearby security guard can be shouting, "Stand back, stand back". But Swift didn't like the lack of manners and corrected the individual, replying: 'Stand back... please" and continuing walking.

The response from Swift earned plenty of admiration from fans, with some even calling her Chiefs' 'MVP'.

But that of course went to her partner, who made a second touchdown catch of the season from a Patrick Mahomes pass. It was his 76th reception overall and means he is is now level with former Chiefs and Atlanta Falcons tight-end Tony Gonzalez, with one more seeing him stand alone in making history.

He looked like he might get that historic catch in the fourth quarter of the showdown against Broncos, though on this occasion the pass from Mahomes was a little too high.

Swift cheered on watching Kelce's heroics and CBS Sports commentator Kevin Harlan had a witty line, shouting: “There it is! The all-time Chiefs leading touchdown receiver! From Mahomes! That will give you something to sing about.”

Next up for the Chiefs is a trip to Buffalo Bills next Sunday, where Kelce will be hoping to do the business yet again.
