NFL star Damar Hamlin has shown incredible signs of improvement in recent days sending out his first series of tweets thanking fans for their support.
Almost a week since the Buffalo Bills player collapsed after a tackle involving Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins, the player is showing promising signs of recovery.
The player had to be stretchered to hospital after dramatically crashing down on-field.

First responders rushed to the field as CPR was administered, essentially saving Hamlin’s life.
Over the weekend Hamlin sent out a series of tweets in which he sent out his appreciation for all the love he has been receiving.
He wrote: “Putting love into the world comes back 3xs as much… thankful for everyone who has reached out and prayed. This will make me stronger on the road to recovery, keep praying for me!”
He later added: “The love is felt, & extremely real. No matter race or religion everybody coming together in prayer!”
Reports throughout the week indicated that Hamlin had been responsive while still in critical condition.

The 24-year-old was showing signs of neurological improvement and even communicated through writing to doctors, asking who had won the game.
And as the Buffalo NFL side came up to their first fixture since the tragic incident, Hamlin was undoubtedly their biggest fan.
He wrote on Twitter: “GameDay.. Nothing I Want More Than To Be Running Out That Tunnel With My Brothers. God Using Me In A Different Way Today. Tell Someone You Love Them Today!”
Hamlin then posted the first image of himself from his hospital bed, flanked by family members.
With the player sitting up and live-tweeting the game, it was an incredibly encouraging sign for all fans that the player was doing well.

The Bills paid tribute to Hamlin throughout the game, wearing ‘Love For Damar’ shirts in warmup, and highlighting the number three on the field.
In a further indication that Hamlin was recovering, he tweeted a link to a shirt he would be selling with all proceeds going to first responders and the UC Trauma Center.
The shirt donned the famous first words Hamlin said after the incident: “Did We Win?”
The Bills went on to defeat the New England Patriots 35-23 in a thrilling contest.
