Tina Knowles has released a damning statement after criticism was aimed at her daughter Beyonce for her reported $20 million NFL appearance.
The music icon starred in the half-time show of the NFL clash between Baltimore Ravens and Houston Texans on Christmas Day in Houston.
The show featured songs from her new album, 'Cowboy Carter', and she was reportedly paid a staggering $20 million (as per Fox28Savannah) for the performance.

She rode into the NRG Stadium on a white horse and was joined on stage by Post Malone and Shaboozey, while her daughter Blue Ivy Carter, 12, was one of the backing dancers.
The week 17 fixture was later won 31-2 by the Ravens, who scored 24 points to zero in the first and third quarters combined.
But Beyonce's performance, which was streamed live on Netflix, received criticism from some fans.

That has led to her mother, Tina, issuing a lengthy statement on her Instagram page in response.
In response to a fan who wrote her own statement defending Beyonce, Knowles wrote: "It is mind-boggling to me that you would take your precious Christmas Day and watch a performance of someone you hate and you don't think has talent so that you can go talk ish about it later.
"Obviously you are so obsessed with them, addicted to them, and secretly admire them, wish you could be them, that you cannot help but to watch and critique and comment and say dumb ridiculous stuff that makes you look like a joke!!
"So go to another channel when it's half-time and watch goofy cartoons or Bozo the clown or something you can relate to and see yourself in. Said with love.

"PS I have learned so much from her warrior sport, of when they go low I work harder. 'No weapon formed against me shall prosper'. One, two, three, waiting for the fake bots to come."
