Shaquille O'Neal has already given his take on whether Steph Curry should be included in the NBA GOAT debate alongside Michael Jordan – and he didn't hold back with his thoughts.
For many, former Chicago Bulls shooting guard Jordan will go down as the greatest NBA player of all-time following a trophy-laden career that saw him win six NBA Championships and a slew of individuals honours.
He well and truly transcended the sport to become one of the most recognisable athletes on the planet, while his long-standing partnership with Nike helped to transform him into a cultural icon.

Over the years, some incredible players have graced the NBA since Jordan retired in 2003, but it's hard to argue that any have surpassed him in the all-time GOAT rankings.
LeBron James and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar are often mentioned alongside Jordan in the NBA GOAT conversation, but Shaquille O'Neal believes another top star deserved to be up there.
After Steph Curry inspired the Golden State Warriors to a comeback overtime win over the Boston Celtics - who went on to win the NBA finals - in December 2023, O'Neal made his case for the star to be included in the GOAT conversation.

"I'm wondering — I'm not saying, I'm just wondering — because he's been consistently the best shooter his whole career," O'Neal said. "I'm wondering is it time to start putting him as the best player of all time?"
Kenny Smith asked if Shaq would put Curry over himself, to which the former LA Lakers star replied: "Yes."
O'Neal clarified that while he wasn't putting Curry over Jordan, he believes it's time for Curry to join the conversation.
The conversation on TNT Sports' 'Inside the NBA' was prompted by Curry scoring 33 points and providing six assists in the Warriors' comeback win against the Celtics.

The 36-year-old added a new chapter to his remarkable career this summer when he helped the United States win basketball gold at the Paris Olympics.
